Even though Nordmann Firs are excellent at holding onto their needles, they still need some TLC throughout the festive season.

Here’s our five easy steps to help keep your Christmas tree looking its best.

Our tree care guidelines

  1. Take your tree out of its netting as soon as you get home.
  2. Cut approximately 2-3cm off the trunk, and this will help the tree to take up more water.
  3. If you’re not decorating your tree straight away, keep it in a sheltered place outside, in a bucket of water.
  4. When you’re ready to set up your tree, place it in a water holding stand. Position it away from drafts and/or heat sources such as radiators, stoves or fires that are regularly used.
  5. Remember to check the water level in your stand daily, and keep it topped up with fresh water to ensure it doesn’t dry out.
