Building & Walling Stone

We supply both Northamptonshire ironstone and limestone walling stone. Ironstone is darker than limestone and sandstone and has been used by Northamptonshire’s builders for centuries. There are now very few quarries and it is becoming increasingly hard to get hold of. If our stock levels show out of stock we may still be able to source this stone direct from the quarry for you, please get in touch.

Our limestone building stone is sourced from Lincolnshire and the Cotswolds. Linconshire limestone is lighter in colour than Cotswold stone but is stronger and therefore more cost-effective as it doesn’t need to be as thick. This sort of stone can be found in towns and villages throughout Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding counties.

All of our stone is supplied hand cropped & dressed in tonne bags of mixed course sizes. Due to the rarity of this stone, our stock levels can be limited at any one time. Please call us on 01327 811888 to discuss your requirements in more detail.
