reclaimed blue plinth headers used as a window sill

Reclaimed blue plinth bricks like plinth headers and plinth stretchers make attractive window sills

Plinth bricks — plinth stretchers and plinth headers — in single or double courses, change the depth of the brickwork. This is at the base of buildings and walls to increase stability, and at height for aesthetic effect.

Plinth stretchers create great window sills, full of character, in both traditional and modern housing. They appear in brick pillars, changing the depth, and as wall copings as they protect the wall from water damage.

In conjunction with plinth bricks, Plinth Headers augment window sill designs similarly to cant or sill bricks.

Our extensive range of Brick Specials includes new (class A and concessions) and reclaimed bricks. Concessions are fully compliant with building regulations but have been purchased as seconds due to minor aesthetic imperfections, allowing us to offer them to customers at large discounts. Perfectly suited to hidden applications, these bricks fit seamlessly in non-standard and traditional decor.

Along with plinth bricks, we also have a supply of new, handmade brick specials. These are new, handmade bricks made in traditional moulds to replicate the appearance of reclaimed bricks. Consequently, they are reliably available in larger quantities. They are frost-proof and made with authentic colouration and a distressed face for a convincing reclaimed look.
