While many people are aware of the benefits of using reclaimed materials for building, landscaping and gardens, they are sometimes overlooked when planning interiors. We believe, however, that reclaimed is the best choice for both the environment and unique, characterful interior spaces in your home.

Reclaimed items make unique features in interiors

Reclaimed flooring — such as quarry tiles, salvaged floorboards and flagstones — brings the charm and character of age to new builds and restorations. What’s more, these materials are exceedingly durable and, with a little care, will last a lifetime and beyond, unlike many of their modern counterparts.

Reclaimed fire surrounds in stone or wood and cast iron fire inserts (with or without tiles) are usually unique and can become stunning focal points for a room. Or, where a fireplace is already in situ, an antique cast iron fire back, basket or grate could be the finishing touch. From time to time we also stock reclaimed stoves and wood burners as well as reclaimed timbers for mantel shelves and a full range of paving slabs and hearth stone slab options.
