The balls are now in place and I am very happy with the overall effect, have had to take out a flower border as neighbours hedge is overshadowing the plot, so gravel garden put in with some hardy specimen planting. These guys are brilliant. Not only is the place a treasure trove of cool things, but the customer service is second-to-none. I needed reclaimed scaffolding boards in various sizes, but... read more all they had were 3.9m, and all I had was a little Astra to get them home in. Aubrey must have spent at least an hour with me selecting them and cutting them down to size with a hand saw. I was willing enough and kept insisting he go off and do more important things, but he took one look at my woeful technique and said it was only fair we split the load - he did more than half for me, all the time keeping up the pretense that I could have done them all on my own if I'd wanted and pretending my arm wouldn't have fallen off if I tried! Moreover, he was great fun, incredibly friendly and full of knowledge and tips. Similarly, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. I'll be back there sharpish to go and pick up new reclaimed things for my projects. Not to mention, the boards were fantastic value too, considering the scarcity at the moment.
