Reclaimed flooring — such as quarry tiles, salvaged floorboards and flagstones — brings the charm and character of age to new builds and restorations. What’s more, these materials are exceedingly durable and, with a little care, will last a lifetime and beyond, unlike many of their modern counterparts.

Reclaimed fire surrounds in stone or wood and cast iron fire inserts (with or without tiles) are usually unique and can become stunning focal points for a room. Or, where a fireplace is already in situ, an antique cast iron fire back, basket or grate could be the finishing touch.
