These sawn and treated timber planks offer strength, durability and versatility for a range of outdoor and indoor projects. Measuring 1.8 metres long, 10cm wide and 22mm thick, they are ideal for fencing, small garden planters or shallow lawn edging. They can also be transformed into rustic shelving units or used to build simple garden furniture. Slight variations in twist or bend add character, giving each piece a unique, natural appearance.
In timber production, “treated” refers to wood that has undergone a chemical preservation process. The timber is placed in a pressure vessel where preservative solution is forced deep into the grain. This treatment protects against moisture, fungi and insects, significantly extending the lifespan of the wood.
