Description

Weathered Redland Angle Ridge Tile Grey Concrete (Reclaimed) 450mm

These weathered Redland angle ridge tiles provide a strong finishing detail on traditional concrete roofs. Concrete roofing developed in Britain during the early twentieth century. Manufacturers needed durable, affordable materials for expanding housing. As a result, concrete tiles became widely adopted across the country.

Their continued popularity rests on strength, cost effectiveness, and long service life. Properly installed concrete roofs can last up to one hundred years. Therefore, many older properties still retain their original coverings. These weathered Redland angle ridge tiles demonstrate that lasting performance clearly.

Redland ranks among the UK’s foremost roofing suppliers. The company built its reputation on dependable products and technical innovation. Over decades, Redland systems have covered countless British homes. Consequently, their tiles remain a trusted choice for repairs and replacements.

These are angle ridge tiles, forming a visibly pointed ridge line. This profile creates a crisp apex along the roof. It also sheds water efficiently from both slopes. In turn, the ridge gains both visual definition and practical protection.

As reclaimed pieces, these weathered Redland angle ridge tiles show heavy surface aging. Large areas of lichen spread naturally across the ridge faces. Patches of moss settle into the textured concrete. Decades of exposure have caused noticeable discolouration. The surface now closely resembles weathered natural stone.

Stone Finish Patina

Importantly, this patina supports rather than hinders performance. The aged finish helps the ridge blend seamlessly with established grey concrete tiles. New replacements often appear stark against older roofs. However, weathered Redland angle ridge tiles integrate immediately.

Choosing reclaimed roofing materials offers clear environmental benefits. Reuse reduces demand for new raw materials and manufacturing energy. It also prevents serviceable products from entering landfill. Furthermore, reclaimed components suit sensitive repair work on older properties.

With decades of life still remaining, these weathered angle ridge tiles represent sound value. They combine structural reliability with authentic aging. Ultimately, these Redland angle ridge tiles deliver durability, sustainability, and visual consistency for long term roofing projects.
