Protect your masonry while adding sharp architectural lines with this unused 3.3 metre run of blue/grey concrete wall coping. Roman builders first perfected concrete centuries ago by mixing volcanic ash, lime, and water into a durable artificial stone. Fast forward, and today, modern concrete offers exceptional compressive strength, low permeability, and outstanding resistance to harsh British freeze thaw cycles. Consequently, it remains a superior material choice for exposed walling products.
This particular batch of concrete wall coping features a finely cast exterior surface. Furthermore, the dark grey finish carries a subtle blue overtone that cleverly mimics natural slate.
Measuring 300mm wide, each full section spans 590mm long. In addition, the depth slants smoothly from 75mm down to 50mm across the top face.
| Specification | Details |
| Material Finish | Cast concrete with slate-like blue/grey overtone |
| Total Quantity | 3.3 metre job lot (multiple 590mm pieces plus one half-size piece) |
| Dimensions | 300mm width x 75mm to 50mm sloped depth |
| Weathering Profile | Once weathered with integrated drip channels |
Engineers classify this design as “once weathered” because the top surface slants in a single direction. Therefore, rainfall flows cleanly toward just one side of the structure. Additionally, integrated drip channels on the concrete underside of the wall coping prevent water from tracking back onto the brickwork, successfully preventing frost damage and ugly efflorescence.
Although this lot remains completely unused, prolonged storage has given this blue/grey concrete wall coping a gently aged patina. Indeed, light stacking marks, minor corner chips, and faint surface discolouration appear across the pieces.
This subtle weathering provides distinct advantages for your building project:
Seamless Repairs: The aged surface blends effortlessly into established boundary walls during restoration work. Equally, they beautifully finish a new walling project with reclaimed bricks.
Instant Character: The natural markings remove the stark, artificial brightness typical of brand new concrete castings. As a result, these wall copings look immediately settled.
Boundary Projects: The job lot supplies a complete 3.3 metre run for low garden walls, parapets, or patio borders.
This versatile blue/grey concrete wall coping delivers reliable protection and classic slate aesthetic at an excellent value.
