Made in Tuscany, each piece reflects a long tradition of terracotta work, using age-old techniques and local clay. This clay is durable and offers high frost resistance to -15 degrees Celsius. These planters are only available in Aged finish.

Crafted from Impruneta and Siena clays, the Handmade Italian Rectangle Planter combines beauty with strength. These quality clays provide high frost resistance down to -15 degrees centigrade. As a result, the planter endures harsh winters without cracking or weakening. Additionally, the fired clay also offers excellent mechanical strength, making this a reliable choice for long-term use.
Each planter is shaped by hand, with artisans pushing soft Siena clay into a gypsum mould. This method ensures consistency while allowing small differences to appear. These subtle variations in texture and colour give each planter its own unique presence. Consequently, no two Handmade Italian Rectangle Planters are ever exactly alike.
The largest version measures 100cm long, 40cm wide and 42cm high. Its size creates real impact in both formal and informal garden settings.
