Transform your home and garden projects today. These new unbranded scaffold boards offer incredible versatility for all DIY enthusiasts. Furthermore, you can create stunning rustic furniture or robust garden features affordably. Each timber piece measures 3.9 metres in length, 22cm in width, and 4cm in depth. Weighing 22kg, these boards are exceptionally sturdy. Consequently, due to their impressive length, these boards are available for click and collect only.
These unbranded boards do not pass strict scaffolding regulations, unlike the metal banded reclaimed boards westock. Therefore, they feature natural defects like end splits, knots, and slight warping. However, these flaws add unique character and rustic charm. Moreover, repurposing seconds prevents perfectly usable timber from going to waste. Buying these materials significantly reduces landfill waste and timber demand. Ultimately, choosing reclaimed or secondary timber champions eco-friendly living.
Homeowners are increasingly growing their own fruit and vegetables. Therefore, the popularity of timber raised beds has surged. These new scaffold boards make ideal garden planters. Additionally, you can build stunning industrial-style shelving units. Meanwhile, talented makers craft gorgeous rustic dining tables from them. New scaffold boards provide endless creative possibilities for interiors.
Building your own garden planter with new unbranded scaffold boards is surprisingly simple. First, pre-drill pilot holes through the ends. This prevents the timber from splitting when you insert screws into the corner posts. Second, stand a corner post flush with the inner corner of an end board. Secure it using two or three exterior screws per joint. Repeat this process for all four corners.
Next, butt the long side of the unbranded scaffold boards up against the corner posts. Screw them firmly into place to form your frame. Finally, check for squareness by measuring diagonally from opposite corners. Ensure both diagonal measurements match completely. Afterwards, line your planter with heavy-duty weed membrane and fill it with rich compost. These new scaffold boards will support your gardening journey for years.
