Red Wall Copings

Red wall copings include both the brick copings and rarer red clay copings in various shapes like saddleback and bishop’s hat.

We have a good selection of reclaimed red copings in the yard. Our range includes half round, triangular and domed red copings as well as various brick styles including single and double cants and bullnose bricks.

Many red bricks are softer than the equivalent blue bricks so we do recommend only using new, frost-proof, red bricks rather than reclaimed for copings.

As with blue brick copings, red brick copings should only be used without additional wall protection on walls up to 600mm high. Walls taller than that will need a course of plinth bricks or tiles to create an overhang to protect the wall below.
