For the perfect fire, simply fill the bottom of the fire bowl (avoiding the middle drain) with Sharp Sand then begin adding your fire logs lighting slowly to begin your evening fire, finishing off with a layer of coal for a lengthy, smoke-free, heat source. We offer all 3 of these fire enhancements in well-sized bags for an additional £80 (+ 5% vat) when buying one of our Fire Bowls.

If you’ve got this far, you might be wondering why Sand… The reason for using sand in your fire pit is actually quite simple. A layer of sand is meant to protect the metal at the bottom of the bowl from the extreme heat of the fire. The sand absorbs the heat and distributes the heat throughout the entire base of the pit evenly and thus providing you with an evenly distributed heat source for a longer period of time. Win, Win!

This price includes the fire bowl, stand, and grills. The grills and stands are newly made and we’ve made sure the grills only have small gaps between the rods so you won’t lose your sausages!
