Originally used by the Ministry of Defence as Tank Ramps, these beautiful oak boards are ideal for making your own feature piece table. Each board is completely unique and oozes character. Although we state they are 5000mm x 1000mm x 45mm, due to their individuality, some table tops may have slightly different dimensions including cuts and wear.
Constructed from solid Oak hardwood, each table top has been manufactured by affixing five 45mm thick planks together using four steel bars which over time, have weathered thus creating more interest and really setting the timber off.
We will supply as bare timber boards, fully constructed and we recommend sanding and protecting the wood with varnish (or similar) prior to installation (but only if you like). Please see the photographs submitted by one very happy customer attached for inspiration as to what can be achieved with these amazing pieces.
Please note that due to the size and weight, we cannot offer a nationwide delivery on this product without obtaining a shipping quote first, however they are available now for collection from our yard in Towcester.
