The reconstituted stone Birth of Venus statue brings a touch of classical artistry to any garden or outdoor space. Loosely inspired by Albert-Ernest Carrier De Belleuse’s Birth of Venus c.1870, it captures the grace and movement of the original sculpture while offering a modern interpretation. The figure stands poised, her arms raised in a gesture of elegance and quiet sensuality. Gentle hands rest upon her thighs, creating a sense of intimacy and balance that draws the eye from every angle.
This reconstituted stone Birth of Venus statue features a hand-applied patina that gives it the depth and character of antique stone. Thus, individually finished, no two statues are the same. In addition, the soft texture and subtle colour variations mimic the beauty of aged stone, lending authenticity to the design. Standing proudly on a display plinth, it becomes a focal point that adds classical presence to its surroundings.
Made from reconstituted stone, the statue combines strength and practicality. This material is created by blending crushed natural stone with high-grade bonding agents. As a result, it’s a durable composition that mirrors the look and feel of solid stone but with reduced weight and cost. Furthermore, it resists frost, heat, and moisture, making it exceptionally suitable for year-round outdoor display. Reconstituted stone also weathers naturally, enhancing its surface with depth and nuance over time.
Each reconstituted stone Birth of Venus statue is finished with a special weathering layer, carefully developed in the South of France. This layer matures with exposure, forming a genuine patina that integrates beautifully into established gardens. In formal landscapes, it harmonises with classical planting and architectural lines. In a wilder setting, surrounded by flowing greenery, the statue appears serene and natural, as though it has stood there for decades.
Placed on a reclaimed stone plinth beside a path or entranceway, the reconstituted stone Birth of Venus statue offers quiet grandeur. It bridges historic artistry with modern craftsmanship, celebrating beauty, strength, and enduring design in one elegant piece.
