Yorkstone Four Way Pier Cap (pair)

A pair of four way Yorkstone Pier Caps, made by our stonemason on site. Each cap was cut from single blocks of stone. They measure 17″ square at the base, tapering to 22¼” and have an overall height of 6″. One of the caps has a slight chip on the corner as shown in the second picture.

Yorkstone Four Way Pier Cap- Pair
This Yorkstone Four Way pier cap combines practical protection with authentic stone character. For centuries, builders have used pier caps to shield brick and stone gate piers from harsh weather. It weighs approximately 150kg, reflecting the density and strength of quality Yorkstone. Our skilled on-site stonemason has recently recut this Yorkstone pier cap, leaving the surface crisp and well defined. Consequently, age and previous use have yet to show significant weathering. One corner shows minor transport damage; however, careful refurbishment will restore it for reuse.
