This composite stone bird bath, with its fish motif, brings sculptural interest and gentle character to any outdoor space. Composite stone blends crushed natural stone with cement and mineral binders to create a strong, resilient material. As a result, it withstands frost, moisture, and seasonal temperature changes far better than many traditional materials. Moreover, it also allows crisp moulding, which makes detailed garden features both practical and decorative. Consequently, composite stone suits bird baths, statues, and architectural garden elements exposed to the weather.
After years of use in a Northamptonshire garden, this piece shows a soft patina across its surface. Environmental discolouration and small patches of lichen add depth without weakening the structure.
