Like those flanking the grounds of Grand European Estates: We take pride in offering a magnificent pair of majestic lions constructed from composite stone. Often found guarding grand entrances to stately homes across Western Europe, this beautiful duo will add sophistication and class to your own home or garden.
Muscular, 4 feet long bodies poised taking ownership of a ball, one looking left and one looking right, these powerful statues are the embodiment of strength and courage. Well weathered with moss and lichen, the statues are composite stone; a mixture of crushed natural stone, adhesive and resin to provide strength and density, with each lion weighing approximately 300kg.
This pair of regal animals are constructed on a rectangular base, measuring in at 40cm x 103cm, meaning they can be positioned free standing or mounted on top of a large plinth or pedestal. Height from the floor to the tip of the lions nose is 110cm. Both animals offer a slight overhang on the rectangular base.
Please note that due to the size and fragility of these gorgeous statues, we would advise that they are ideally collected from our yard in South Northants or can be delivered locally via our delivery partners with a HIAB crane. If you are interested in purchasing the pair and do not live locally, please contact us on 01327 811888 or email sales@watlingreclamation.co.uk to discuss other logistical requirements and options.
