Reclaimed Wooden Brick Moulds-Refurbished

Reclaimed wooden brick moulds offer a fascinating glimpse into traditional brick making. Indeed, these authentic moulds were once used by hand to shape wet clay. The clay was packed tightly into the mould, often dusted with sand or straw to prevent sticking. Once shaped, the clay was released and left to dry before firing. Additionally, some of our reclaimed wooden brick moulds include embossing inserts, which pressed a name or logo into the face of the clay. As a result, this branding remained visible after firing, giving each batch a unique identity.

We stock a wide variety of designs, including plain and embossed versions. No two moulds are the same. Reclaimed wooden brick moulds show their history through worn edges, faded wood tones, and rusted metal bands. Old screw heads, stains and scars tell the story of years in active use. These features create a rustic character that modern reproductions can’t replicate.

Beyond their original purpose, these brick moulds now offer creative new uses. They make excellent planting trays, ideal for succulents or herbs. You can also use them for small parts storage in a workshop, craft room or kitchen. Mounted to a wall, reclaimed wooden brick moulds become attractive shelving or display boxes. Their shallow depth makes them perfect for storing spices, tools or collectibles.

Reclaim and Reuse the Past

Using reclaimed industrial items like these supports sustainable design. You’re repurposing materials that would otherwise go to waste. These moulds add depth and history to a space—both decorative and practical. Their worn appearance and industrial construction give an authentic feel to any setting, whether rustic or modern.

These reclaimed wooden moulds bring history, texture and character into your home or workspace. Each one is different, shaped by decades of use. Whether kept as a conversation piece or given a new life, these moulds offer practical beauty and environmental value. They survive their past and their new chapter is ahead of them.
